Horton Plains

Horton Plains is a national park in the southern part of Sri Lanka.  While there is wildlife, particularly sambar deer, there are no elephants in this particular park.  It is known for World’s End, an amazing cliff formation, and Baker’s Falls, a small waterfall.  The landscapes are unreal.

Our reward for hiking through the cold rain and mud was of course another edition of Western Standard Lunch #9A, which had absolutely no samosa at all.
